crocs

In 7 years 100 million pairs of these beauties have been sold but after over saturating the market Crocs are in deep doo doo. I remember seeing whole families at holiday resorts sporting these foam clogs and shop shelves were stacked with them, next to the inflable lilos and rings. I think wearing them makes it look like you should have a carer with you. Please excuse another lengthy absense, due to technical difficulties and not being arsed.

adidas-campus

St. Patricks day looms and Carroll’s of Dublin are rubbing their hands as they lay out all sorts of paddywhackery for our tourists to lap up. On the 17th Adidas US are releasing a special limited edition of their classic campus runner in unison with the festivities. The design received some input from House of Pain member (you have to love this name) Danny Boy O’ Connor. Enjoy skulling your pints over the weekend!

lambo-pumps

I’ve seen these Lamborghini Pumps on a few blogs and I thought I’d have to share them with our lady readers. Although a well executed and thought out design by illustrator Tim Cooper, the likelyhood of this being on shelves is pretty much diddly squat.

adidas-watermelon

But these are are in supply! Call the cops! Part of the new SS09 Adidas collection, watermelon inspired this design and just looking at them make me feel like Summer is just around the block. €130 from colette.

diet-butcher-slim-skin-1

Diet Butcher Slim Skin. Japanese designer Hisashi Fukatami christened his label with the said name as it has a good beat and rhythm, a factor that he says influences certain designs as well. Founded in 97′ this label is fast gaining muchos props overseas. A champion of punk and alternative culture Hisashi designs carry those influences right through into his work quoting that alternative fashion to him ”means to be stubborn and to do what I want to do, to design what I want to design.”  He notes Jamie Reids graphics (the bloke who knocked out those ransom note style record sleeves for the Sex Pistols) as one of his first influences saying they “had a very fetishistic angle”.

The archetype material for the regular fetish joe is patent leather and this boot is draped in it with fat ass laces and a zipper on the side to keep em’ on nice and tight! These can be worn with either a pair slouch or slim jeans and royal blue is the  popular vibrant color for this Spring which can give you that wild contrast. They ain’t for nothing mind you but for those who don’t have a hefty pay cheque burning a hole in their pockets there are alternatives on the high street if you look around. Oki-Ni scored the deal as the only European stockists of the label and have these hi-tops in black and blue with more colors to arrive in April. Those naughty folk at Oki-Ni are keeping this on the DL until Monday but because they like us ya’ll can check em’ here first

new-kicks

Oops I did it again. I went and spent cash that I don’t really have on threads and shooze. There is only one way in my books to overcome this R word with happiness and that’s to buy shit. I bought these beauties in Size? for 75 bucks and I’m going to christen them when I go out later. I will try to be economical with the booze though and only pour 75cl bottles of Bollinger over strippers instead of the usual magnums.
