How nice are these? No wonder people fell for those old cigarette adverts, they’re undeniable. Just look at those smiles!
I intended of posting up the mural of mammary that resided outside the Bernard Shaw in Dublin which brightened up my mornings the past couple of weeks on my way to work. However some fun killing feminists (probably lezzers) decided to ruin it for everyone by spraying over it and scrawling “You can be funny without being sexist” or some shite to that effect. Well I considered the ‘Honk if you like boobs’ piece a celebration of the almighty chesticles and am saddened by it’s absence.

A lovely moment caught on camera by Scanarama. Bono gets together with Damien Rice, Declan O’Rourke, Glen Hansard, Liam Ó Maonlaí, Mundy, Vyvienne Long and more to busk for the Simon Community.
1,500 Puma t-shirts and 88 pairs of Evisu jeans. I’ve heard Mr. Soft from the Softmints advert has ordered one in white.
Photographer supreme David LaChapelle is in Dublin to launch his exhibition ‘American Jesus’ in The Sebastian Guinness Gallery tonight. David’s iconic photos encapsulates glamour and surrealism and jump off the page with his use of vivid colour and striking untraditional portrayal of celebrity. I’m a big fan and love flicking through the Hotel LaChapelle book. It never gets old.
It’s running till October 31st so make sure you check it out. For more deets click here.

Clever. From smarty pants Erick U.
From artist iri5’s ‘Ghost In The Machine’ Series. This is my favourite piece of The Cure’s Robert Smith made from nothing but cassette tape entrails. He has also murdered other cassettes to create Jimi Hendrix, Ian Curtis, Amy Winehouse, Ian Brown and Van Morrison amongst others.
Just looked at the The Small Print’s photos of last Sundays nights magnificant Social @ Twisted Pepper. Although slightly miffed they charged me and my medium sized entourage a tenner in because we strolled in 4 minutes too late at 11.03pm, I was easily distracted upon entry by the magic neon doodles created by artists Chris Judge, Steve Simpson, Scalder, Gaetan Billault, BRENB and Des McElroy. I spent most of the night upstairs in the Mezz where the Dublin Streets massive threw an awesome 3D Under The Sea soirée (check this facebook vid) that spilled out onto O’ Connell Street during the small hours with beach volleyball antics outside Maccers. Missed out? Good news is there’s another Social (yay!) next May Bank Holiday (double yay!) which is sure to be just as exuberant and rowdy.
