romain-laurent-4

I like these bizarre photees by Romain Laurent that caught my eye whilst having a gander on TrendLand yesterday. The combo of sureallism, vibrancy and humor in his snaps are what I loved about the legendary David LaChapelle also .  Above reminds me of getting the Leona in the morning and below right, the  Carantouhill of footwear that grows in the corner of my own bedroom. Saint Vincent de Paul? Never.

This is my new favorite song and it’s from Pnau. They’re an Australian duo (you have to love those folks down under for banging out good old electro!) who’ve been around for a bit and I’m  a big Mr. Happy that I caught onto them. Like MGMT before them, people are asking how you pronounce the name. Is it P.N.A.U or like a sound of a ricochet bullet? A silent P perhaps? Nope, its just pronounced per-now. The vocals on this one are just a wee bit similar to D.A.N.C.E but I think Pnau got that fun factor that so many had loved about Justice. It’s worth noting the Nick Littlemore of Pnau is also one half of shit hot on the block Empire of the Sun whose track Walking On A Dream is all over dee nashinil raydee-oh. Make sure y’all hear Pnau on Myspace or if your bored in the office play a game whilst listening to the single here. Great tune, great vid, simple as.

under_construction

I read Lil from OffShoots post about her homemade LEGO accessories for the toybox themed TAC (tonights theme is animal rave) a while back and then I saw THIS! Like the whole hat idea but I ain’t  lovin’ that photo, it  just doesn’t look right with that model but saying that who could pull off a massive lego cap apart from the obvious LEGO man?

construction-eating-kit

My 2 year old nephew uses his hands as cutlery so he’s more like slob the builder than bob the builder. I think this could help from Flying Peas.

dublin-flea-market

I’ll be heading over to the monthly Dublin Flea Market in The Coop, Newmarket tomorrow from 11am-5pm to see whats treasures I can aquire with the trocaire box  spare cash I found around the house. Keep up to date with what’s happening with the Dublin Fleas on their blog. Should be a luvely day altogether.

 anti-theft-lunch-bags

The curse of the communal fridge. If you put a label with your name on a sandwich that just encourages all those bastard snack scavengers even further to eat it, it’s like giving you the finger behind your back. Try these anti-theft lunch bags from the. and you’ll rest assured nobody’s gonna touch your crambo club.
