You may be aware of this pixel loving groups work with Coca-Cola already if you bus it around town. Aside from working with MTV, Adidas and Honda they also sell some nice tees like the one above for the fair price of €35. Check out their online store here or check out the eBoy blog.
As a Dj I like to play around with my set and throw in a curb ball when the crowd is gee eyed. Sometimes it sparks a magical moment or sometimes it falls flat on it’s hole. This one did not.
I currently got a €1.39 bid on eBay with about a day to go on a vintage leather jacket. Too good to be true? Probably but it’s shrapnel in my pockets that I’m willing to gamble. If you have money to spare with three digits preceding the decimal point then check out these leather lovelies…

Yep it’s meant to be spelt that way. That’s the way Tarantino imagined a Nazi soldier to say it. I went to the premiere last night in the Savoy and from the opening titles I was gripped and that grip didn’t loosen one bit. Tarantino’s knack for writing sharp dialogue is unquestionable, the most mundane topics of conversation can easily be weaved by his master hands into a brilliant scene. Set in World War II he rewrites history and injects humour, action and adventure with a sprinkle (well, really a bucketful) of trademark grit and violence. The standout performance is from Christoph Waltz as The Jew Hunter but Brad Pitt had us breaking our holes laughing just as much as hillbilly leader of the Basterds, Aldo Raine. My favourite moment of the flick? Mmmm… just remember the name Hugo Stiglitz. His introduction is epic.
Last Sunday I caught Dublin rockabilly outfit Pavement Kings at the Dice Bar. There was trash can drums, a spinning double bass, a whole heap of greased back hair, turned up jeans and it was one of the best little gigs I’d seen in ages. Sittin’ there I was with a big smiley half pissed head on me. I didn’t know it but there seems to be a wonderful rockabilly scene buzzing on our doorsteps. One of bands at the forefront of this are Spellbound (pictured above). In keeping with the theme there’s a Rock n Roll Carboot Sale tomorrow at 208 Carnlough Rd, Cabra according to a poster up in the Dice Bar but there’s no evidence of anything about it on the net so it could either be deadly or very, very shite.
This kinda weirded me out a bit. SHAHEEN JAFARGHOLI While Shaheen Jafargholi sings this mad unexplainable blur appears over his shoulder. Not for the faint hearted folks.
After months upon months of “I have to get that and make a dinner” I finally did. I didn’t buy it though. Dragons Den success story Levi Root’s Reggae Reggae Sauce was kindly gifted to me by my girlfriend. Needless to say I was oh so very excited to ignite my tastebuds with the aromas and flavours of Jamaica (kindly distributed by AB World Foods Ltd, Lancashire). I lashed some on some fried chicken strips with some rice n’ pea and Lordy Lordy it was only gorgeous! I recommend.
